Rose Bay Fire Flight Center
A fire in Hyde County brought airborne fire fighting equipment to Washington in June. The airport here served as the flight support and coordination center for the NC Forest Service’s fire fighters. A variety of aircraft were on hand to lend a hand in the effort.
